We love the fact that our home country is so large that one can spend an entire lifetime here and never see all of its great sites. As the third largest country in the world by land mass, the United States of America is bigger than the entire European Union and indeed, just as diverse. For this reason, it's best to think of the U.S. in terms of regions or states. We are originally from South Florida and throughout our travels in the U.S.A., we've generally found Americans to be very friendly and incredibly service oriented. Also, the culinary experience can differ greatly between regions and the climates can range from arctic in the north to tropical in the south (where we live). Geographic landscape and biodiversity is also prominent as is racial, ethnic, religious and political diversity.
